After years of working as a restaurant manager and more recently in the Winery here at Holmfirth Vineyard Luke Tankard, one of Yorkshires favourite wine makers, has gained and amazing insight and learned the intricacies which make fantastic wines and how they match up and pair perfectly with certain foods.
This evening is all about what foods you should be preparing over the Easter holidays and what wines should accompany them in the relaxed, informal comfort of our Tasting Lounge located at the very top of our seven acre Vineyard.
The evening will consist of
A welcome from Luke Tankard, vineyard wine maker
Tasting of a minimum of six wines
food pairing to accompany each wine and a brief description of how the wine and food infuse and why they work well together followed by general questions from the floor
Free membership of the Holmfirth Vineyard wine club, exclusive offers.
Time around 2 to 2 half hours course (variations can apply due to questions)
Space is limited and It’s a first come first served, this great evening out in Holmfirth only £25.00 per person
